Our Story

 People are born into this world with many trials to face; trials that forge them into the person they become. However, much of what creates us also comes from the stories we are told or read along that journey. Science has seen some of its greatest inspirations come from ideas that were first born of books. Children grow into adults who’s ideologies find roots in characters that were there when they needed direction. Three of those children now make it their mission to ensure that spark never dies. From our passions for fiction we, the Founders of Ironwood Publishing, created a seed of an idea that grew into what you see here today. While our lives took different paths originally, our shared spark of inspiration and dreams brought us together.

 At Ironwood Publishing we aspire to create a transparent, safe environment and smooth process to bring the worlds and stories you create to life. Our goal is to ensure the story you write makes its way into the world so it can inspire new generations like those that inspired you before. We seek to respect the artistic freedom and innovation of our authors, and overcome some of the pitfalls many face in the modern writing industry when seeking to publish.  

 The power of creation belongs in the hands of creators. Every story written represents hours of time and love poured out on to paper. Each author who takes that risk strives to do something that puts them deep into territory outside their comfort zone by putting themselves out there. Not everyone’s interests are the same, but that doesn’t mean the voices of those who do so should be spurned or  thought less of for it. Here at Ironwood Publishing we seek to make that risk worth it by helping to facilitate the process in a smooth way with transparency and advice offered the entire way. Your story belongs to you, and we will ensure that the entire way. 

 We at Ironwood Publishing value the power of community born of our service in the military and the bonds we forged as we move forward in life. For us an author who publishes with us is not just a client providing a product for us to put out there, they are part of a community we seek to grow and build. We seek to bring authors together so that we can all begin to shape our world around us.
